Old Book New Idea

Don't know why, but this morning I felt like this ^. I decided out of pure frustration that I would go back to my other book I was writing and slaving over and try it from a different POV. AND for some reason I am ecstatic!

This is good news! I can't wait to dive in. Maybe working on two books at the same time will be a great distraction. When I get bored with one, or frustrated, I can go to the other with a fresh mind.

I used to look at other people doing this and thought they were MAD (or incredibly brilliant). HOW could they concentrate? How could they posssssibly go back and forth between the two and not goof up?

Now I understand.

Both are my babies, and how could I ever mix up the two? Silliness.

Switching between books may, in fact, be just what I need right now. My brain is screaming, "YES!", so I must obey.

So, all of you in blogger-land, or writersville who have done this, is there any special trick that works best for you?

Please let me know. I know you are all reading this and don't ever comment. Don't think your comments wouldn't be important. I LOVE to read them!

Gee, I wish that I could wake up every morning that excited. :) The more you write, the better you get. So working on two WIPs is a great way to improve.

Yes, me too, Madeline! And it's true about writing more.
