meegenius contest : VOTE and you may WIN a book from me.

My wonderful critique partners both wrote some very cute Children's book stories and entered them on http://www.meegenius.com. I've supported them by voting and wanted to ask, nay beg =) you to do the same. Here are the links:

http://www.meegenius.com/challenge/ants-apple-by-el-wood : Ant's Apple, by Estee Wood

http://www.meegenius.com/challenge/jailbird-by-lisa-frischhertz : Jailbird, by Lisa Frischhertz

And http://www.meegenius.com/challenge/the-bird-the-acorn-by-lisa-frischhertz : The Bird and The Acorn, by Lisa Frischhertz

Unfortunately, these things turn into a popularity contest and so don't have so much to do with talent as with how many friends you can get to go over and vote. But I promise you these girls have talent and truly deserve as many votes as you can give them. Plus, I've made it incredibly easy for you. All you have to do is click on the links above and hit the Facebook 'LIKE' button to the right of each entry. Very simple.

Also, if you vote and leave a comment (with email to contact winner) here in the comments section, I may be enticed to give one random voter a book from the pile of books accumulating on my shelves. But I will only do this if I get at least fifteen voters to vote on all three entries. So, spread the word and you may have an extra present for Christmas this year!

Voting ends December 18th, so I will run the contest until then as well. Winner will be announced shortly thereafter.

PS. You don't have to be a follower of this blog to enter. (Although, wouldn't I love you forever if you did??) =)

Thanks you guys! Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season. I know I am. (Can't really believe it, seeing as how things went last year, but I am!) My husband and I decided to give in and get our children a 'pet'. Fish, are what we decided on. No scratching up furniture, or pooping in odd corners of the house for us! Now I just hope they won't start fighting over who gets front row seats to watch said fishies and tip the bowl over =/.

Awesome. I've been thinking about drafting a Christmas/holiday related flash fiction myself this next month. I'll head on over for some inspiration! :)

Thank you so much and I'll have to pack up some of those ARC's that Payton got from ALA for your contests.

That would be fantastic, Lisa! Maybe you could just give me the titles and then ship out the winner's book directly to them. Would that work?
