So, you think you love PARANORMALCY as much as I do? Come here and find out.

So, you thought I was going to do a Review on PARNORMALCY? Okay, you're right. I am. If you have any question or qualms about whether or not to spend the 9 or 10 bucks on this book...well, you've come to the right blog. I will tell you exactly why you should buy this book:

Weird as it is working for the Internation Paranormal Containment Agency (IPCA), Evie's always thought of herself as normal. Sure, her best friend is a mermaid, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she's falling for a shape-shifter, and she's the only person who can see through paranormals' glamours, but still. Normal.

Only now paranormals are dying, and Evie's dreams are filled with haunting voices and mysterious prophesies. She soon realizes that there may be a link between her abilities and the sudden rash of deaths. Not only that, but she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.

So much for normal.

Enticing, no? YES! Kiersten's writing style is quirky and fun. Her story intriguing. The pace excellent! Evie is written as a very fun, sweet girl with a very sad history that makes you care about what happens to her right from the get-go. Kiersten writes the characters in this book so well. You are kept guessing at what a person's character is, not knowing who to trust or what's right/wrong.

And not to give anything away, but I love the dynamic of the Antagonist in this story. She has perfectly painted a villian that you see as evil as well as sympathetic. A REAL person. Not some melodramatic entity that is black and whtie bad.

The good thing? THE STORY DOESN'T END HERE!

I cannot wait to read the next book, SUPERNATURALLY (which comes out in July).

Now, you may be thinking by now that I don't ever give a bad review, and maybe I'm just saying this because I don't want to be mean or whatever. Not true. My personal rule for reviews is that if I don't love, or even like a book, I won't do a review on it. I just don't want to be the person that rips apart someone else's life work (or year and a half work =). It's not nice and sort of unhelpful. If I talk to you in person I may talk about why I don't like a particular book, but not on here.

SO, it should come of some comfort that ANY book I put on my blog is one that I can recommend 100% (or, at least 95.9%) =)

If that isn't good enough reason for you to buy this book, I don't know what is. I LOVED it! And you will, too!

IF you have already read this book, tell me what your favorite part/character/scene was. There were so many things I loved in this book, SOOO many quoteable lines. Someone should really make a little coffee table book listing all the quoteable lines in this book. WELL DONE KIERSTEN!

Okay, you've convinced me. Actually, I was almost convinced just from the gorgeous cover art. And I love the title. And I'm off to add it to my Amazon wishlist...

I like your review rules. Thanks for the great insight on this read! I've had this one on my TBR list for a while. It's up after I finish Phantom by Susan Kay. ;)

BTW, you have the most beautiful blog I've ever seen! Wow.

I am seeing this book mentioned on many blogs, with as much praise as you have given it. Looks like another I might have to check out.
